Ever sweated out a summer night here in New England?
I certainly have! I've even tried to sleep out on the screened porch floor with a portable box fan blowing over me for hours until the night air finally chilled me enough to throw a sheet all the way over me. I finally went to sleep in the wee hours – but I lost a lot of sleep that night. The next night was the same, if not worse!
Home Energy Audits
Does it make sense to have a Home Energy Audit? I think so. Don't you ever wonder where your utility costs come from? We don't all live in a super modern Energy Star rated home. We mostly live in homes that were built in the suburban spiral that happened in the 50's through the 1990's. Some live in homes from the 19th Century, and even older, especially in New England.
